  • Just a question, this friend that he went to watch footie with, is he single, as my OH has singles mates and give him a hard time for not seeing them or not being like the "Good old single days", just wondered if he is a bad influence on him and does he do this often, just disappear and not take anything with him. My OH did it a few times when I was 8/9 mths pregnant, never done it again, I showed him who was boss.

P.S Just had this really strange e-mail about the number 11 and the 9/11 any body interested PM me with your e-mail address, it is proper spookey, especially the end bit.

    no his friend is marrried,
he went home straight after the match,
my OH stayed out till he could drink no more,
he is very huffy and has gone off before,
but he always comes back the next day,
he is definately in for a shock this time.

Becks, re the smiley thingy, I wish I could explain where I got it. My hubby downloaded some extra smileys for me ages ago and there is now an icon in the top right corner of my screen which I click on to get them. Perhaps someone with some technical know-how will be able to tell you how to get them - there are some good ones!
re the 9/11 email, I had it ages ago. It's a hoax. The dates are not correct.

Sured, maybe he's fed up of the cycle repeating itself too, and he's sitting somewhere right now wondering what to do about it. A kind of lightbulb moment as it were? You will have to wait until he gets in touch, and see if he's receptive to the idea of making changes.

Forgot to say, 'doing nothing' is no longer an option. You will not get 'stronger every day'. Your energy and confidence will be further eroded, your 'investment' will get bigger, and you will be less willing to let go of it. In another 10 years you'll be asking the same questions.
This will sound blunt, it's not meant to be, but it's either a) Over or b) Worth working to save. Neither option will be easy. Sorry to be such a brute :o

  • Sured - personal question and you don't have to answer but how old are you?
My mum once tried to leave my dad but stayed cos she said she was too old to be alone.

    Thinking of you x

not brutal at all, its just the truth,
have to be honest and say i think option a will be the outcome,
i dont think i want to be with someone so selfish,
    there is no easy way,
i'm just going to have to make myself strong.
    i'm 41
