i dont know,
i just cant figure out whats going on in his head,
i thought we would be together forever,
so i'll have to start picking up the pieces,
if theres anything good come out of it,
he has proved he has no respect for me,
and i have some closure, rather than not knowing,
so i should be able to start moving on with my life,"Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0 -
just too add,
he will never be able to hurt me again,
so that has to be a good thing too."Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0 -

Hi sured,
Only just read this thread, so apologies for coming in so late. My personal favourite when I'm down is to watch Breakfast at Tiffany's - simply because no matter how messed up my life is - Holly Golightly is FAR more screwed up!
Otherwise, favourite CD on extremely loud and SCREAM those words out!
BTW - I think some time away by yourself is a fabulous idea - try Martin's flightchecker to get the cheapest flight anywhere!Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

Just back from the Doc's and catching up on your thread sured.
Well, what can I say? I think deep down you knew this was coming didn't you? But I am really very sorry to hear it happened in the way that it did.
You will have quite a lot of practical stuff to sort out between you, so try to stay calm and keep things as amicable as possible - although I'm sure that's not how you're feeling right now.
I think you said earlier that you put money from your house sale into his property, so make sure you get legal advice quickly. You must make sure you get back everything you are entitled to.
Draw up an action plan. Where will you live in the short term? How will you spend your time? Have you got friends who will support you through the next few weeks? It's important to have someone to talk to, and something to do in the evenings in particular.
Try not to dwell on thoughts of 'wasted years'. This was a bad relationship for you, and it sounds like you are well rid of it. Be positive, and in a few weeks time, things will be much clearer and hopefully you'll be feeling much better.
And of course, let us know how things are going.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

Your joint finances really need sorting out pronto - especially if you think he might try taking more than his fair share. CAB might be a good place to start. You didn't say whether you are employed, or whether you also have a personal bank account, but if not you need to open one quick.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

If i was in this situation I would ring up the mortgage people and see if they can help, even if it is 1 month holiday period, the money will come in use at the min and 1 less stress, Mortgage lenders are normally quite good if you are honest with them, they have been brill with us in the past,Experian credit score as of Feb 2016 - 116
