Lloyds TSB Debit Card - Not Olympic & Is It Offline?

    Response from lloyds:

    Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

    We stopped producing new card with the Olympic logo on 2nd October 2012. Any cards from this date forward will display the Black Horse design. The cards have a three year expiry date and therefore will no longer be in circulation from the end of 2015.

    Say you've lost it and they will send you a horse one.
    I tweeted them yesterday and they confirmed they've now gone back to the old design now the Olympics are over.

    I could, but the cards never leave the house as they are all maxed out on the 4% deal :)

    For ATM usage, I typically use my Nationwide card. I never use a debit card for purchases.

    I have a green one from last year and a black horse from this month. Neither is contactless.

    Lloyds have said the black horse card design will not be available contactless until Jan 2013 :-(
