I know I've just wished you happy birthday on the daily thread, but just wanted to pop on here too and say HAPPY 40TH! Hope you have a good day after a couple of not-so-good ones.
I think it will just be a case of weathering the storm with your wife - when you find out something horrible, at first you're a bit sort of gung-ho, thinking 'yes I can deal with this' etc, but then after a few days/weeks, reality kicks in and I think that's when the anger and resentment can sometimes come out a bit. But your wife sounds great, a really strong, caring person, and I'm sure this will just be one of those bumps in the road that we have to somehow navigate our ageing DFW-style bangers carefully over. Good luck to both of you, and try to really enjoy your day."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
