  • Running is the best way of losing wight, plus it takes my mind off things, I can only just concentrate on breathing. This is my second year, after I did it last year I stopped running and put weight back on which I am not going to do this time. Need to get down to 13st, now 13-10, was 14-12 so getting there.

Cant help with the losing weight after baby Im afraid!!!!

I'd love to be a good runner, but I've never been any good at it - it just seems to hurt my shins too much (before I was pregnant I mean).

I've always been active, I did karate, played squash, swam (I'm still doing that....but more of a pathetic doggy paddle at the moment), but running I could never get into.

    It's a girl, she's due in 4 weeks.

I'd like to join a gym, but you're right, it's just so expensive - even the local council one would cost about £60 per month for me & hubby. I'll just have to be queen of the exercise dvd I think, and get fit in my living room!

Lol, I think she did ask if you had run it before, so you were answering the right question, don't worry!

Anyway, it was my fault for hijacking your thread with baby-talk! Sorry :o

I did ask if you do it every year, so you are not completley cracking up.

That's such a nice offer, thanks - to be honest we have been given loads, and are a bit over-run, but thank you for being so lovely!

Bundles of childrens clothes sell well on eBay by the way, if you want to make a bit of extra money from them.
