Just having a quick time-out and catch up with the Fred....
I had to laugh about the conversations with various feline friends - I suppose I'm fortunate that I'm fairly fluent in Doggish, as I have to get used to new canine friends rather frequently.:rotfl:
I don't know where this morning disappeared to; it's Mr LW's last day's leave, so I got him to help me wash my hair, and we went into town to get his meds, also he's treated himself to the Skyrim expansion game; I hoped to get a new draining rack, as mine's falling apart, but there was nothing I liked - and I am so NOT paying £28 for a posh metal one.
Other than that - the BM is on, a carrot'n'orange cake and a blackberry'n'apple crumble are both in the oven cooking, cheese sarnies have been consumed, and I'm trying to find enough energy to go and dust in the bedroom (my Thursday room).
I have a Mensa meeting tonight that I wish I hadn't said I'd attend, too.:cool:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Back from harvest and the hopticians. Twas genius to pick a fram when I booked the apointment because I'm having the one DD said was nice;) Eyes getting more aged *sigh* a prescription has changed.
Called into card factory for cheapy 'new baby' card for friend; popped into discount store (bodycare) for necessities inc cheap loo roll - and shampoo.
Parked in free car park and found 3 pennies so *kerching* in the roadkill fund!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi folks, Im needing to seriously get on board. Moved into my home few years ago and im still trying to make it a proper home!!! one bedroom almost finished after decorating and my wee boy and I will share my room until his is redecorated and new bunkbeds (gift from grandparents last year but never but 'sorted' enough to get them in) arrive. In the middle of utter chaos...even my recent brianstorm of emptying the drawers and wardrobes for freshen up launder and switch of wardrobes has bit me on the bum as its all in a huge heap!!! aaargh!!!! I work full time, and although my sons dad is a brill dad, we're not together so Im on me owneo here!!! have 5 shifts to go them im on leave for 12 days when hopefully I'll get stuck in...I sooo need to be more logical about it and get the job done as quickly as poss so that my wee boy and I can enjoy some of my leave!!! Will be sitting with notepad reading this thread for tips when wee guy goes to bed!!! xxxThis above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. Quiet here today! Well I have done my room, except the bed. I'll do at the weekend, all the beds, whilst the little ones are away. They are in bed without a story as they have been fighting. I have vicks'd both their feet in the hope there won't be so much coughing tonight.
Got playgroup in morning, inlaws collecting [strike]gits[/strike] kids at lunchtime, then I'm off to see the new baby, yaay! After that, a quick shop for some bits for the festival that happens in December, then a bottle of wine with my neighbour! It's the weekend!Bossymoo

Morning all. Well its a bit murky here today but dry so I'll be able to walk the dogs once I look similar to a human. Yesterday I only managed to hoover/sweep through the house and cleared the chairdrobe in our bedroom.
Today:
Wash up
Hoover downstairs
Change bedding in our room
Dust our room
Also, if I get time after the paid stuff:
HHI
Strip DDs bedding
Hoover under DDs bed
Tidy a drawer in our room and get rid of odd socks
Wipe keyboards, mice & screens
Clean mirror in bathroom
Clean toilet
Clean bath, shower, sink
Clean floor in bathroom
Then I should have caught up for the week. If not, I may do some of this at the weekend.
Have a good day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Have to sort kitchen today - DS didn't eat until 8.30 last night ( late home from work - he was out for 13 hours!) and I couldn't face the washing up...
Aunt flo is now 10 days late and I feel horrendous - all weepy and bloated. My body hasn't felt like my own this year...but this is horrible.
Looking forward to paid work today - only EYU and years 5/6 in school - we will let the 5/6 sit on the floor and picnic!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
