yes but it will be a bit squishy as bossy says.. I only feed it to the children after it has been frozen lol.

Dusty.. Polly is one of this invisible cats. She moves at a million mph and never knee sits or comes for love but she was asleep on my pile of clean towels so I assaulted her..

Catching up on Bones.. why is every episode the same? .. and scoffing Gu desserts.. they were half price so I got them as a treat for OH cos I luffs him. :) (at the moment :p)

  • We have heat & hot water :j It wasn't too expensive, so the fly-lady vibes must have worked :D Thanks folks :T

DD2's best friend has been really weird with her. She has rather unceremoniously 'dumped' her  I was cross last week, as she knew she was going through a rough time. However, instead of being upset by it, DD2 has been happier than I have seen her in a long while!! I have my daughter back :) It is weird, but it is like a weight has been lifted from her! It is like she has seen her as a different person, and is better off without her.

Dinner cooked & eaten, and most of the washing up is done. i am shattered, so not much flying done (not much sitting down either!) It is a quieter day tomorrow, so i will see how i get on.

Hug, sticks & spoons to those that need them (extra sticks for Dancemum) Night night all

We had some strange weather today. This morning the rain was torrential. Then it came really bright and sunny, and warm. Then, when I collected the kiddies, it was bright sunshine, thunder, hail and rainbow all at the same time :o

Same here, are you in Cumbria too, bossymoo?

Well, I can't let any talk of cats go by without adding my bit! (I love cats!!). My Maisie used to talk to me all the time; she'd say 'awaa' for hello, a quick 'wa' for no and would reach out her left paw to greet me whenever I walked by her. She loved kisses and cuddles and being wrapped up in a warm blanket - and I still miss her so much.

Her brother was funny too, and vocal! He had a Scottish accent and would give a really weary 'ecke' when he wanted something, like a tired Andy Stewart!! Another sorely missed puss, that boy, both lovely natured cats. I shall never, ever, stop missing them.

To the present day: changed the bed, put WM and DW on, S&S bathroom and kitchen, tidied round, got showered, then out to Liverpool for the day, as OH had an appt there. Treated myself to some new lounging tops and slippers and (I'm blaming Pigpen for this!!) got some of that gorgeous Snow Fairy stuff from Lush! I'd never heard of it before, but got some for me and some for gifts!!! It is divine!!

We had a lunch out and came back weary, but really pleased with our day. Microwaved a meal I'd prepared earlier in the week and chilled out with a good sci-fi, bliss!

Will need to iron tomorrow, sort out some paperwork, then go to work, so time for sleep, I think. Good wishes all round, R.

West Yorkshire. So quite a trek, really. X

So, Tis master bedroom today. That's good, and I don't have many extras today, other than take the kiddies swimming. I will tidy the towel drawer though, they are all just shoved in :p

My slow cooker is on overdrive this week. Soup, gammon, and now braising steak (smells lovely, been on all night) and later today I'll make a big <something> with a pack of mince and some onions....

My freezer stock is coming along nicely!

Morning all. I also chat to my dogs all the time. Its amazing what they understand really. Well, so far today, I've cleared up after sick dog, given her her tablets, had breakfast and already spent too much time on here. I really should be getting ready for the paid stuff.

The only job I did from yesterday's list was descaling the taps so a lot to catch up on if I get time later although I will be invaded by both DD and DS tonight. Oh, must get a bed made up for DS and check I've got a spare quilt. Got him to throw his away last week when he left home as littley dog had been chewing it. If I don't have a spare, will get DH to pick one up.

    Get washing up to date
    Walk dogs
    Sort chairdrobe
    Dust bedroom
Tidy a drawer and throw odd socks
    Hoover

Catch up on yesterday's bathroom jobs.
Will leave changing the bedding till tomorrow as I've already made the bed.

    Catch you all later.
Spend less now, work less later.

    Morning all

Dry here atm so plan is wm and a quick walk into town to collect a library book, it is my walking day but friend keeps changing it which doesn't suit me, we changed days to suit her, then times and she still arranges other things.

Bathroom needs a clean and to pick DS2 up as half day inset and he needs some bits of equipment for school.
