I'm very tired. I must go to bed Earlier.

Up late, kids are having school dinners as we are out of bread.

Work today. DH is away to Birmingham but not leaving until
Later so he's doing the school run.

    Catch up later.

  • Good morning :D

Another busy day yesterday & today. Roll on Thursday when it quietens down a bit :p

Plumber came yesterday and despite his hums & intakes of breath, it hopefully shouldn't be too expensive. He came in the evening (which suits me, as I have no kids here then), and is hoping to get the part he needs today & will be back tonight.

Had a phone call last night from the bank (trying to sell mortgages). I pointed out that I used to have a staff mortgage, but when I left I changed to another bank's custmer rate & it was cheaper  She said that staff mortgages are now 0.5%!! DH still works for them but he didn't know this :o I may go on Friday & get some no obligation figures. Changing shouldn't be a problem as our o/s mortgage at the moment is about the same as DH's basic salary :) It does mean we may be able to consildate some credit at 0.5% (I know you shouldn't swap unsecured for secured debt, but would save us a packet!). It also means that I may be able to change the front door for a more secure one, and relace the hall carpet (which sticks!! Damn cat  And the carpet is about 20 years old!!) The downside is that DH is not happy at work, and would leave tomorrow if he could :( I suppose I could just get some figures and take it from there.

Bubba is here - gotta go!

Well, we have emptied about 4 boxes...

2 were filled with old videos... Im not sure what to do with these as I dont think they go for much on Ebay and even charity shops dont want them.... so they have been stored on the bookshelves in the hall for now.

2 had various detrius and gibble which has been rehomed or sorted into correct boxes.

We found a pile of PSP games and a charger, but we no longer have a PSP so these are in the Ebay pile!

Weve found a zillion pieces of loose lego, which has been put back in the lego box!

4 shoes... none of which made a pair... which had clearly just been scooped up by DS when he has made the effort to tidy his room! :rotfl:

And we found a Tenner! :D

Thats it so far... need to start getting ready for uni now and drop DS off xx

Yikes piggers, hope he doesn't take the news too badly :D

Feeling much better today, I shall put it down to eating naughty stuff and then having a sugar slump after. That will teach me, I'm supposed to be dieting. Always helps when eating treats makes you feel !!!!!! lol.

Been to mr t omg I need to stop spending, only £20 was on food too... I think I have enough Xmas stuff and clothes now thankyou very much.

I shall go clean the bathroom as penance for my sins :D

    Good morning everyone.

I'm skipping gym this morning as I have only had about 4 hours sleep and haven't got the energy. I hate solicitors at the moment - you would think we were guilty parties in some horrendous court case, the way they are treating us, instead of acting for us.

Well perhaps a bit of flying will put me in a better mood.
