Evening flyladies. Well, Mon & Tues lists up to date.
Things I cannot do but will keep trying:
Open a bottle of wine (corkscrew type). My beef casserole has not become beef bourgignone as I couldn't open the wine. Am loath to ask DH to do it in case he wants to drink it ( 3 1/2 months now of no alcohol).
Make pastry, have managed to cobble together some mince pies but what a faff with the pastry. I am eating one now and it's not exactly melt in the mouth.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hi Ladies,
I'm a bad Flylady. No paid work today and I've done minimal flying. I had a facial at the salon today and its made me a little too relaxed.
Waiting for DD1 to get home and drive her brothers to Epping to get the tube to watch Orient.
I intend to hurry the little ones into bed and do some ironing before having an early night.0 -
Feel a bit peculiar. Arm aching after flu jab and feel nauseous although am inclined to think its because I have unusually stuffed myself today. Early night for me. I did sort my DVDs though and the lr baskets. I have two empty drawers under the tv cabinet! Must buy some tat to keep in them :rotfl:Bossymoo

Hey all,
A bit late, but Im here!
I went away visiting for a few days and came home to find my brother brought round some more stuff from my mums... which is fab! But there is stuff everywhere!
I was also given a bookcase and a smaller kitchen table to help make room ironically, but I still have the big table in the kitchen too, and the old fridge etc.... there is just STUFF everywhere! And no where for it all to go...:rotfl:
The bikes are in the hall, along with a big bucket of toys, the boxes containing the bookcase to be built, and array of similar gibble to be sorted and homed.... So we are climbing over bikes to get in and out of all the rooms and I have NO idea where I am gonna keep the bikes long term... But hey at least weve got them back
So Im not sure how much I will be able to do from the regular list... I need to be clearing/sorting/ebaying etc
We started DS room tonight, and have unpacked a few boxes of books etc, sorted out board games... We have taken out ALL the toyboxes and we are in the process now of taking out all the stuff he hasnt played with and will hopefully end up with a pile to ebay!Pennies make pounds and all that.... Doing this should make room for all the stuff he wants to keep plus leave room for C*******s *insert rolling eye smilie here*
