It's a shame that some people are sinking to the depths in their replies - it's neither helpful nor constructive.

And they ask the OP if she has a life - I rather think that the boot's on the other foot! ;)

There seems to be a number of new posters on the eBay boards recently that like to make malicious comments.

    Erm, why?
Because she did nothing wrong and being punished anyway.

Anyone and everyone worth the air they breath should be upset by injustice.

Some people rant, some people cry and some just shrug their shoulders.

Which they do is their business, not anyone elses.

So why's it on a public forum?

What I was saying, was why should you be upset? It's a piece of text on a screen, nothing to cry about. A bit of (unjustified) negative feedback doesn't stop food going onto the table.
As a PowerSeller, I never leave feedback first. The reason I do this is because I know how much it winds the people on the forums up...

    Quite.

I think instead Ebay should add a percentage fee to every sale for counselling. It should be split into two parts - one part for the "I'm so angry because that seller has not left me any feedback !!!!!!!!!!!!!" brigade and the other part for the "OMG!!!!! It's the END OF THE WORLD!!! My 32 years and 7 months unblemished 100% feedback is no more because ONE person has left me a negative!!! STOP THE PRESSES!!!!" brigade.

Ignore the posters here who are obviously trying to stir things up by being controversial and just wanting outraged responses from people!

And as for the neg-er, you will come into contact with right !!!!! on ebay just like every other walk of life - you can't control it unfortunately. A neg or two won't blemish your record. As a buyer I am always FAR more interested in how a person responds to a neg as that shows their true colours - whether its a "tried to resolve problem, buyer unreasonable" or a "what a W&*NKer".

Chin up! Get listing! and make some cash!

I can sometimes prefer to see a seller with a couple of negs, because their reactions to them tells you a lot more about their customer service than a string of positives. You hope that nothing will go wrong in the transaction, but you hope that if it does, the seller can deal with it sensibly.

Have read a number of your posts on various threads, why are you so rude and condascending to people?
Are clearly a rather shallow and inadequate person to belittle others in almost every post you write.
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

  • It is upsetting to come across worthless, self-centered individuals. But on a site as large as eBay, you're going to get an awful lot of scummers.

becky004 - some people just like trolling on forums and stirring people up. It's attention seeking dribble really. :)
