There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Need a bit of help please, I had to reorganise my wine stash after my M & S order this week and was trying to put it all in some kind of order of what needed to be used next. :o

Can anyone remember when the Encounter Bay glitched in Ts when there was a mulitbuy and 25% off, I'm such a light weight still have few bottles left and I am sure they are over a year old now. Not sure how long they are good for.

    Would this be it TS?

Can I just ask about the maltesesrs promotion. I have checked a fair few packs and cannot see any bar codes behind the l and t. Have I got this wrong .? Tia

The odds of not finding a bar code are 5 in 6 at the best of times so you may be doing nothing wrong at all ;)

CPT WINTERS WE LOVE YOU.... because in real life you were there there, along with shifty, malarky, buck comptom makes me cry, nixon. troy and gonorrhea

I have the Bluray and like yourself its still unopened :(

I read in on all the forum posts as it was being broadcast in the states and didn't like the vibe from all the diehard B.o.B fans so didn't obtain it or watch it on Sky as it may have taken the shine off B.o.B itself.

If you get a chance to watch Life (and the dvd is often on offer on Amazon) do watch it - he's really cool in it.

evening all. Managed a quick stop in at the massive Ts at Ruth3rg13n on way back from Glasgow just as loads of clearance stuff was getting put out. Got calculator for 5p!, Mechanical pencils 5p each, set of 3 neon highlighters for 9p, Blackberry cover for £1, Winter car kit (demister pad, scraper, deicer) for 50p, simonx car wash 62p, Unibond extra strong tape £1.50 (went through till at £4.95 so got DTD after some gentle persuasion that surely I shouldn't have to check barcode numbers against SEL) :)I could have spent hours in there but DD would only let me have 30 mins :(

I love that store. It's usually a great store for mags too

I remember one time I popped in to get the missus a coffee from the Costa cafe. I then forgot she was sat in the car waiting for me and I just wandered around the store taking things to the price checker. I finally realised I didn't have my phone to check prices in A so went back to the car to get it and saw her sitting there with a face like thunder as i walked back to the car.......without coffee!

And did you notice the big self storage place next door? That's where I'm storing all my furniture. Very handy if there is a big glitch in T any time soon. I'll just wheel my trolley straight over :rotfl:

You can pay in clubcard vouchers too  :rotfl:

    Is this news?
Morrisons stores are taking other supermarkets money off vouchers.
According to CS it is only Stores of the Future.

    Thanks for this

The in-laws spend crazy money in Morries (I'm trying to wean them off whilst I stay with them). This might make it a bit easier to introduce them to couponing

Does anyone know what makes a store a "store of the future"?

Do we have any in Glesgae?

I have done myself out of 10p by buying sada frozen value yorkshire puddings, only 39p in Sada against toscos 49p - very annoyed with myself. Also no s and s in my store :(

    It's not that bad

APG would have compared 39p against 44p (49p less 10%) so you only lost out on 5p ;)

Finally realised today why the broadband connection at the in-laws was so slow (and at times non-existent). FIL had the ADSL filter plugged into the Sky phone socket

It's working like a dream now that I've swapped them around :D

I'm all caught up with the thread so I'll see you all later

We were the same with Band of Brothers - absolutely loved it - and when Sky did Pacific, I started to Sky+ it. As I was up North a lot at the time, visiting Mam, Alan watched it himself. When I was home, I said lets watch Pacific and he said 'Oh, I've been watching it and it's not as good, so I deleted it as I knew you wouldn't like it either'
