    Evening Elite :hello:

Had a lovely pub meal with DH and DS3 and 4 :) enjoyed a shower and used some of my Aussie stash :D my hair looks lovely now

DS3 sitting with DH and chatting about the 'order of play' for tomorrow, he (DS3) has to be at the wedding venue for 12.30 to see the registrar and photographer :)

Me, I'vegot an appointment at the hairdressers at 8.30  so will have to get my butt outta bed extra early

I know I have a stash of hair colourants but a couple of weeks ago I walked into a local hairdressers and asked if they needed a hair model (this was on the Thursday) I was asked to go in the following Tuesday and had my hair cut and coloured for free  very mse :D
I've since had two appointments and had a wash and blow dry and hair straightened with those iron things  :rotfl::rotfl:all for free too :)

I don't do self colouring anymore due to a number of disasters over the years. I've had pink, yellow and orange hair and one time had all three of those colours at once and it looked like I'd borrowed the My Little Pony dye factory to do my hair :rotfl:

I'd left school when Malcolm McLaren brought the Double Dutch song out and was always a bit envious that I never got to do it.

We had an american student teacher that taught us to double dutch, she wasn't much older than us and we idolised her as we thought she was so cool :) I was born in 1963 so this was way before Malcolm made it "cool"

I've no idea if anyone else tried but minimum amount for a giftcard is £1. The SA did look at me when I asked for 1p and bless her I had to show her how to do a giftcard but we got there.

In the interests of experimentation I loaded a few different designs of card. Each design counts as a unique item. So it may not be free but instead of buying fillers you don't want, you could get a couple of giftcards instead. My excuse was I was getting the cards for a raffle hence strange amounts across multiple cards.

    Hope that helps someone.

Thank you - good to know

Time to say goodnight - I didn't realise it was quite so late :)

my head is BURNINGGGGGGGGGGGGG ......had awful scalp for last month or so since changing to new shampoos (yeah I really should stick to the cheap stuff but what can I say????? APG lol) Now the hair dye is BURNING!!!!!!!

    going to persevere though !

Please take care. Many people after having thier hair dyed show signs of an allergy to paraphenylediaamine known as PPD which is commonly found in hair dye. Symtoms can include itching, burning, rash and swelling. Seek medical advise if the burning continues. Better to be too careful! Sorry don't mean to worry you unneccessarily.
