  • Well I know I can be a bit sharp and caustic at times, but while I may feel its a bit late in coming, I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank the MSE admin team for stepping up to the task and liberating our thread for us.

I know they don't fully appreciate what this thread means to many of us, although perhaps they are beginning to realise now.

Anyway......Thanks guys n gals. It's nice to see this place back to almost how it was even if I still can't bloody well catch up!!!! :)

Morning all. :DCaught up now. I'd not been on for a while, just the odd v quick browse to see if everyone was OK. Just finished a stretch of nights, slept most of yesterday so awake a good bit last night. Hopefully back on daytime mode now.
How are you all? I've just seen FK's post and have surmised that the problems are over (to put it delicately). I'm so glad cos I love this place and all the lovely, caring' sharing people on here. It upset me to see how things were. Glad it is 'normal' now, if we could ever be called normal, :rotfl:
I'm planning a coupon shop later today, so a stint on msm is called for. I have almost stopped buying fruit and veg in T's and others. I've been to Aldi for their deals. The produce is cheaper, seems fresher and lasts so much longer. I was sick of throwing out veg after a couple of days, or having 'ripen at home' peaches etc that went bad before they ripened. We love mushrooms and I used to buy the big value pack from T's , but found the same thing in Aldi much cheaper. Anyway, will lurk while browsing msm if that's OK.. See you later.

Morning all. Off to do a boring detergent/stain remover shop - dont want to mix this with my proper shop as I have no spend and saves to use up. Will get it over with now, and just have a wee check up to see if any cheese has re-appeared. There has been a big empty hole for two days. :)

Morning! :j Made it to the weekend!!

My T's has self-scanners and it is so fun!!! I am sure that is very sad that it is fun... and I have yet to see if it shows you savings before it goes through the til - like at W's.

The good news from my T's is that they DID have the £1 SEL on the cheese and when I asked about it, the staff were hopeful that more was arriving, because they hadn't had a look in on it!! Very helpful and polite - perfect for a Friday evening shop after a long week :T
