I had a till spit about converting CC vouchers straight to Avios - bonus 4500 Avios. When I went onto the site (avios.com/tesco4500) it was there for anyone to use but finishes 20th. October which is tomorrow. If you are interested, do it straight away. HTH.

Thanks a lot, hopefully I just got in on the death with that one!

    It's not that bad

APG would have compared 39p against 44p (49p less 10%) so you only lost out on 5p ;)

Actually when the APG ccame back later that day the york puds came back as NA - so a good filler for 39p and its another 49p I wont be spending in Tosco every again.

I really ought to be making my own though - mad as it sounds thats another say £20 a year saved which is eqivalent to a sale travelodge :rotfl:

Need a bit of help please, I had to reorganise my wine stash after my M & S order this week and was trying to put it all in some kind of order of what needed to be used next. :o

Can anyone remember when the Encounter Bay glitched in Ts when there was a mulitbuy and 25% off, I'm such a light weight still have few bottles left and I am sure they are over a year old now. Not sure how long they are good for.
Its something I need to do, re organise the wine stash. I've got some better quality reds that are fine and improve a bit but the whites need using up. Ive also got quite a few rose, something we like to drink in long hot summers - how long is it since we had one of those ...

The way I figure it is there is no point saving something unless you have an aim in mind.

So making your own yorkshire puds saves 49p or 39p at least every week. In the travelodge sale I can get hopefully a £12 or £18 midweek room between Jan and March in the city where my daughter lives. We can go up on the train with our train passes. The travelodge in this city is close to the train station and in the middle of town so we can walk everywhere, do the shops, visit the art gallery, see the eldest child and bf etc. I usually have some luncheon vouchers so thats a free breakfast from Greggs. Yates is in the middle of town and they often have an offer on, buy a drink and get a meal. I convert some of my nectar points into Pizza Express gift card or Pizza Hut so thats the evening meals sorted out if daughter does not feel like cooking. So thats a mid week break with minimum spend :T

I already checked on my last visit; no socks, no magazines, no leaflets, no slow cookers... :( both scanners are now broken anyway, have reported it... we'll see what happens :)

Sounds very like both of my stores - also very very clean carparks, no till recs blowing in the breeze ever. No trolleys with pounds left in them either. No machines for taking the cans and getting extra cc points.

got the kc vouchers today in the post and been checking on
mysupermarket for a good price for andrex but:eek:
shocking price even using £3.00 vouchers it's really expensive,
the coupons don't expire until 31/03/2013 so will hold off and see if they come up on an offer later;)
feeling a wee bit stingy but once you start watching what you spend theres a line you just can't cross, even with mocs:D

On mys if you look up the price of something you can see what its lowest price ever was and so thats the price to aim for - you can click on price alerts. Sometimes you can see a pattern - about once every 4 or 5 weeks some things go on offer - I've alsoseen some things that have always been the same price, never a penny different.

So its a case of spotting a pattern, ideally a BOGOF would be nice.

The Andrex in our house is not alsting any longer than the Nicky from Home Bargains or Farm Foods :(

I have got enough thanks :Tbut if it is my local as I pop back for wine well it would be rude not to replenish stash. Dont think it will as has now got an oos label there.
