  • Hi Beanielou, yes I heard it in the car on my way to work this morning and I thought it would be a good way to remind myself to keep going when I'm not seeing results quickly enough :D

  • That is a very good saying. I'm fed up, I want to be able to pay my balances off quicker but its just not possible.

  • Good evening :)

Not a NSD today, it started badly this morning. I was going to have egg mayo butties for lunch but the eggs smelled a bit iffy so rather than risk a dodgy tummy they went straight into the bin and I had to buy lunch which resulted in me being tempted to buy a bottle of wine in the process :o

Then, it got better when I made £60 in Eb*y sales :j

I know I should really put it towards one of my bills, but I need to get some money behind me for Christmas, then I'll start overpaying. I'm determined I'm not putting a single penny on credit this year.

I have two days off now so I need a list of things to do:-

    1. Package up and post everything I sold today.
    2. Do a cleaning blitz for my mum and dad.
    3. Do some (paid) book-keeping for a friend.
    4. Do my laundry.
    5. Clean the house.
    6. Do as many surveys as I can manage.
    7. Have some fun and go for a long walk with BF (weather dependent).

Hugandroll - I'm fed up too, and tired of having no money, but we can do it if we help each other :T

  • Great Ebay Sale Well Done!

I do find when everything is organised ie housework you are more focused all round! I had a house inspection yesterday so house is pretty much the tidiest its been :)

  • I've had a quite productive day today.

Done most of the housework, I just need to do the outside of the windows now and the bathroom. All washing and ironing done, just need to do my parents laundry now, then we're all done.

All E*ay sales that have been paid for have been posted this morning, I'm just waiting for 6 more to pay now.

The weather's been ok today. BF just lit the log burner so we should be nice and warm in a bit.

I don't feel like I've made much moneysaving progress today. I'm just living till payday at the moment :(

  • I've just done three surveys on Toluna and two on Onepoll. Not far from a voucher on Toluna now, it just takes a while for the points to show on my account :D

Not doing so well on the chocolate side though. BF bought me a box of Maltesers :)
