What a horrible situation:( In the meantime, keep dishing up the 'special servings' for the old bag though:D

A couple of months ago I gave Mr MWC the use it or lose it ultimatum for lovefilm and since then we've seen some really good films :T

Tonight we watched a superb film - Incendies - harrowing but very watchable

We are entertaining again today.. our friends are bringing their new to them 16-month old daughter to meet us and the chickens

Not too much tidying up to do after yesterday and we are eating leftovers so just guacamole and salad to make today :T

I've started hacking back the neighbour's tree because I was fed up with it. I need to get the saw out for the thicker bits and the step ladder to try and reach the top. Previous neighbours paid someone to chop it back probably 4 years ago now and it has grown about 10 feet since

It cured my hayfever. The honey that is.

    As for the ageing honey

Great lines Alchemilla and I like your amendment Tilly :rotfl:

I'll buy some honey from the next farmer's market and give it a go (sounds nicer than nettles!) - 1 tsp a day?

How about 'get your hand off ma man or I'll deck ya'. Or were you looking for more subtle than that :D. In which case I'll bow out :rotfl:.
