Good morning
I've woken up with a headache and a sore throat
I haven't got time to be ill... I have guests arriving at 1-sh and before then need to:
- clean bathroom and downstairs loo
- clean conservatory
- mop downstairs floors
- clean up after Mr MWC in the kitchen (he's a very messy cook and he's using achiote so everything will be red )
Today's menu:
Guacamole & sikil p'ak (pumpkin seed dip) with tortilla chips & chicharron (Mexican pork scratchings)
Pork pibil
Green rice
Smoky asparagus salad
Pink pickled onions
Margaritas
Toffee apple cheesecake, ice-cream & toffee sauceMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Hope you feel better soon MWC. Could it be hayfever? I don't really suffer but do get a 'have a cold coming on' feeling each morning when the rape is flowering.
Food sounds fabulous.

Both you and Fortune have such beautiful recipes
I'm going to g@@gle the recipes when I get home.
Fortune may be right, when I start with hay fever, I think I have a cold, but after a couple of antihistamines it's under control.
The it easy

Thanks Fortune & Tilly
I do get hayfever but not normally this early in the year however the sycamore trees outside are in full flower so maybe I'm developing a tree pollen allergy - I'll take an antihistamine and an aspirin!

Nettle tea made with local nettles is supposed to help too - very :money: unless you need to invest in some gloves to pick them of course!!
