As GG (and Natty) would say:

    Just saying......

    Min 31°C
    Max 39°C
    Sun Lots
Precipitation 10% chance on 1 day

We might have to change the itinerary and do less traipsing round Mayan ruins and more swimming in cenotes :D

    Missing you already

Hello LRH :wave:, just checking you're ok :D

  • Hi girls, just popping by to make sure Miss LRH and your chums are safe and sound and not being bullied by the big girls whilst your human family are away upon their hols.

Hopefully the lovely neighbours are looking after you well and feeding you lovely treats.

Natty, GG and I are only a PM away if you need us but I'm pretty certain you will all be having a whale of a time.

Lots of love Aunt Tilly x

  • Hello girlies, just popping by to make sure you are all ok. Hope the neighbours have been clearing your eggs regularly as Miss LRH, you must be churning eggs out 10 to the dozen by now :):):)

    Hope you are all ok

  • Just a quick post to say I'm back and thanks for keeping an eye on The Girls :)

They still recognise me :T and celebrated my return by digging several huge holes in the flower beds :naughty:

Everything is a bit manic here... Mr MWC leaves for a 5-day busness trip at 04:00 tomorrow  and I have an early pick-up for a 3-day business trip on Wednesday - not sure how we are going to survive until the weekend :(

Does anyone have any tips on quickly reducing swelling in feet/ankles please? The only shoes I can wear at the moment are a smelly old pair of walking shoes or flip flops - and I can't walk in flip flops :rotfl:

  • Things that made me happy today:

    - the sun was shining and it wasn't too cold :) (although it was 32C lower than last Monday )
    - the daffodils by the side of the road are starting to flower :)
    - racehorses were being exercised on the heath as I drove past :)
    - a couple of dozen chickens had escaped from their field and were happily pottering on the grass verge :)
    - 8 eggs from my girls - nearly a full house :)
    - it was still light when I got home from work :)
    - I didn't burn down the house after accidently leaving the iron on all day :) (:eek::eek:)
    - I made a MOP of £562.75 which means that (for today only!) our total mortgage debt is £160,000 exactly :) (that's over 20% lower than when we moved in 5 years ago :D)

There will be more to OP this month - I just need to find time to shuffle the money and calculate what's leftover...
