  • I forgot I had some shares vesting at the end of this month. Not sure whether to sell them or keep them - tempted to sell and make an OP but my sensible head says keep (FTSE100 company, 5%+ dividend) ???

Courgette frittata & salad for dinner

Only 3 eggs today (Miss B, Miss M and Miss LRH) but first time Miss LRH has laid on consecutive days :T

Well done pet :j. And you're the only one laying proper colour eggs - none of this New Age nonsense :D.

Edit: Keep the shares. Reinvest the dividend. You know it makes sense :)

    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

And another one today :T but do they have yolks...?!

7 eggs in total today :j so it's easier to list the 2 hens who didn't lay - Miss Gladys and Miss W

Mr MWC made Sicilian pasta with cauliflower for dinner

I've decided to keep the shares but I'm not sure that I have the option to reinvest the dividend GG - it looks like the dividend from the last 3 years will be paid in my April salary :)

  • Apologies to Miss Gladys

She did lay yesterday - I just didn't find the egg until first thing this morning :D

I was supposed to be in Germany on business this week but the trip was cancelled... glad that I'm not travelling this week :) but disappointed because I had scheduled in some time to go to my favourite home knick knack shop :(

  • I'm pooped!

Since getting home from work I have made 2 batches of chocolate & guinness cupcakes with vanilla buttercream icing - my friend is starting her adoption leave tomorrow :j

Used Miss LRH's eggs - they have yolks now :T

Only 4 eggs today - Miss B, Miss M, Miss Beryl & Miss LRH

Cake mix and buttercream icing bowl scrapings for dinner

And Mexican Pesos and USDs ordered and paid for - holiday savings account now empty :(

  • I get 4X death in service benifit as standard and last year I paid a little extra for 5X. This year I have the option of 6X so I asked Mr MWC what he thought...

... he said he didn't want the temptation :rotfl:

Aw, my girl's firing on all cylinders now :D. Well done pet a-hen-that-lays-golden-eggs-smiley-emoticon.gif.

When are you off on hols? Looking at the weather forecast, I can see us sleeping at the airport tonight (or not sleeping in my case :o) to make sure we get there :(.

Luckily we don't fly until Wednesday so hopefully my only problem will be getting round the M25 in rush hour traffic!

Good idea to get to the airport tonight GG - we once suggested that to FIL, he didn't and he missed his flight
