:mad::mad: The first official my brother met at the airport this morning has ruined his birthday surprise by telling him his final destination :mad::mad: He's flying to the US today and he knew that he was going elsewhere on the 27th but he didn't know where... his girlfriend was hoping to keep it secret until they arrived to check-in for the flight to Mexico. He doesn't know that we will be there, where we will be staying and what we will be doing though, so not completely ruined.
Plans for weekend:

- Discover that summer clothes no longer fit
- Online shop for new clothes

- housework/laundry etc
- nag Mr MWC to open FD current accountMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

This year's council tax bill has just arrived in the post... only 0.3% higher
So in real terms, an increase of £3.31 in April and then the remaining monthly payments remain the same.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Miss LRH's first "proper" egg wasn't a proper egg!
We decided to fry the little eggs for lunch - all 5 of Miss Beryl's were perfect, Miss LRH's had no yolk
Bolognaise sauce and chilli con carne made for the freezer, tomato sauce (slow-cooked with pork ribs) to be made later. This is the first time we've batch-cooked - we normally freeze leftovers rather than cook in advance.
We will have used up loads of things that have been in the freezer/fridge/larder for ages by tomorrow evening
It's stopped raining so I'm off into the garden now to de-poop the chicken coop!Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
