Hello MWC
just catching up - you've been through the mill
7lbs weight loss would be just right for me too! Don't know if I can cope with that in the cold weather, but I'll have a think :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I've received a free 3-month first class lounge (railway station) pass :T Complimentary refreshments, newspapers and wi-fi - I'm also hoping it means that I don't need to pay 30p to pee!
Share price still fallingLooking on the bright side they do pay a 4% dividend - not as good as the 6% Mr MWC gets but not to be sniffed at
It's been a spendy afternoon: £39 on new head lamp bulbs & fitting and screenwash, £15 (incl. tip) at car wash, £275 on new glasses  (I should be able to claim £125 back from work)
I did get one bargain - £stretcher have some really lovely bare root fruit trees @ £3.99 :money: I couldn't resist and treated myself to a cherry (Stella) tree

I really need to knuckle down and follow the plan...
My new goal is to lose 7 pounds in the 7 weeks before I visit GG in Spain.

Your own cherry tree
lovely.
There are several on the rec. ground outside my house (very big - mature ones are huge, apparently, Edwardian Farm showed cherry ladders, and they're all massive too, sorry!) and I picked a few, though I was in a bad patch when they actually got ripe. But at least I remembered where my little cherry stoner was, I was happy about that
Have a lovely weekend.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Halfway through the month and I've spent:
Cash = £27.81
Nectar points = £27.50
Match & More vouchers = £30.00
Waitrose vouchers = £30.00
Love2shop vouchers = £9.00
Total = £124.31 of which £36.99 was miscellaneous spends (clothing for my great aunt, seed potatoes)
ETA Spent another £7.50 nectar points + 45p cash this evening in Sainsburys. Apart from a loaf of crusty bread tomorrow, I shouldn't need to buy anything else until next Saturday...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

I'm still very pleased with my tree - it's a good size and a beautiful shapeUnless I dig up the lawn (tempting but unlikely!), I'll have to grow it in a large pot so it shouldn't get huge.
I now have quite a collection of fruit trees/bushes/plants :j
1 x cooking apple + 1 x eating apple (both stepovers)
1 x pear (stepover)
1 x plum
2 x cherry
1 x medlar
1 x quince

Hi MWC,
We lost a hen today, and we have one left - I'm gutted. It was during the day - we let them free range. Farmer saw a fox at about 11.30 today, so we are thinking it took it.
