It was from WaitroseBUT - if I was to make it from scratch - I would partially cook the diced BNS first (probably roast or I wonder if boiling/steaming for a couple of minutes would work :think:)

Busy, busy, busy...
2 trips to London this week - took my dad to visit my aunt in hospital on Tuesdayand then had tickets for John Grant in concert yesterday :cool:
Plans for tomorrow:
- find and pick sloes
- chub club
- grocery shopping
- lunch
- 200 mile, 5+ hour round-trip to visit great-aunt in hospital
- cook fruit for hedgerow jelly and strain overnight
Plans for Sunday:
- finish hedgerow jelly
- housework/laundry
- visitors for lunch
- pickle onions (may delegate this to Mr MWC!)
- make spicy pear pickle

His friend had a spare ticket. But there wasn't one for me

Mr MWC was "special" today - he used the chicken giblets to make a stock for gravy and then strained it straight down the sink... :doh: :rotfl:
9 jars of hedgerow jelly made and spicy pear pickle currently bubbling away on the cooker, tried to delegate the pickled onions to Mr MWC and he's deferred it until tomorrow evening
Popped to the garden centre this afternoon as I had loyalty card vouchers that expired today - 3 x 60L bags of compost for 28p (buy 2, get 1 free + £13.70 vouchers)
Fabulous drying weather today - towels and jeans line-dried :T
