    :T:T:T Great news MWC :T:T:T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Still really chuffed :D

I went to fat club this morning for the first time in 4 weeks - gained 0.5 lbs in October - happy with that :) Need to knuckle down now though and lose 3.5 lbs to reach goal!

Roast squash, rosemary & butter bean soup for lunch, and roasted pork tenderloin with apples & onions, potato & celeriac mash and cabbage planned for dinner - I love autumn food

Flights to Spain in March confirmed :j

    Eggs IN 6
    Eggs OUT 0

No signs of The Girls slowing down yet - I've more eggs than I know what to do with...
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)

Just checked internet banking and FA balance is £0.00 :D
(I wasn't expecting it to show until at least tomorrow)

Just for the record, we OP'd £69,777.43 :T

Mr MWC is at Wembley today for NFL. My plans:

    - housework
    - laundry
    - potter in garden/pick last of the raspberries/pick some beetroot to make room for the swede seedlings/think about clearing some leaves but probably decide to leave it until all the leaves have dropped!
    - clean chicken coop

ETA - go for a walk or 2... I could do with a day off walking but a colleague has fitbit-challenged me...

Well done on the mortgage OP's MWC - that's awesome :T
  • I've done everything on my list (apart from the leaves) :T

100,000+ steps in the last 7 days - no wonder I'm tired!

I need to refocus on my good habits (drinking water, body brushing, cleaning my face 2 x day, making a bit of an effort with my appearance, hand care) in November - it all went to pot in October... :naughty:

I'm trying to do that - forgot about body brushing. And I've been gifted lots of Liz Earle stuff, as its my SIL's favourite, so I've just started to use that.

  • Nice gift KC :)

I like LE stuff although after a couple of years I decided that my skin needed a change of routine. I have an unopened 50 mL jar of skin repair moisturiser, dry/sensitive, and an unopened bottle of eyebright that they sent me as a loyalty gift - PM me if you want them :)

As part of my decluttering earlier in the year I started using up some of my many 'body polishes' - and actually noticed they made a difference, so have kept it up :D I've also made a conscious effort to use up the many body butters/ lotions/ souffl!s/ creams etc - I usually only throw a bit on my legs now and then in the Summer months :o - but I do find that a bit of conscious looking after myself in some areas kicks into others (eg: if I'm making an effort with things like body polishing and moisturising, I'm more likely to bother drying and straightening my hair/ not wear total scruffs/ think about healthier choices for food) x
