  • So after a year of diverting our OPs to the original mortgage, I decided to switch back to OPing the further advance...

    end-April 2008 - FA = £106,190
    end-October 2015 - FA = £0

    Paid off 12.5 years early :T:j:T:j:T

    Mortgage payment (for the IO original mortgage) is now <£150/month :D
    Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
    Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)
