Crikey Mr MWC, my dogs have said you're only supposed to be loving them, not other bitey type hounds

I hope your girls settle down soon.

No need for them to get jealous Tilly... he was walking past it, not petting it, and it bit him on the leg!

New girls settling in nicely with Miss Effie :)
Miss Gladys still with us... just :(

We were supposed to be going clay pigeon shooting this morning but it has been cancelled due to the weather :( still meeting friends this afternoon though :)

Love to the new girls and hope Miss Gladys rallies xx
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Hey MWC - what a 24hrs indeed. I'm glad that you've got new girls too :D They do look lovely - and I love the 'rockin the punk vibe' on the..... Columbine? Soft spot for the bluebell though, I must admit :o I hope that they give you many years of pleasure - goes without saying, that those girls will be treated with so well in their new home :D

*Ouchy* for MrMWC getting bitten :( no need for that at all :( Hope the tax rebate dulled the pain somewhat, but oooooof......

Have a great day out with your friends.

  • I'm baking today :D

There is a chai, apple & coconut tea loaf in the oven (smells fantastic ) and later I'll be baking a rum-soaked sultana, banana & walnut cake and a beetroot seed cake.

I won GG's fitbit challenge :j I beat her by a country mile... actually if you use 1 mile = 2,500 steps, I beat her by >9 miles :rotfl:

TBH - she just picked a week when I had nothing better to do, this coming week I doubt I'll do many steps at all :p

New girls still unnamed - must rectify that today

  • Is there a new challenge in the offing?

I'm baking a lemon drizzle cake but yours sound way more interesting.

MWC - greent sums it up well. Good heavens, what a 24 hours :( I'm really glad you got some new hens straight away. And poor Mr MWC  that really is too much :(

Loving the cookery tho - sounds like everyone is going to enjoy their meals, at least :)

What a rollercoaster! Hope all settles down and the girls are all friends. And that Mr MWC doesn't get any nasty lurgies.
