MWC, what an interesting marmalade website! I love, absolutely love, bitter, thick cut marmalade
one of my fondest memories of travelling in Turkey over the winter was seeing the young men who ran a hostel in Istanbul taking over the cafe in the evening, cutting up oranges and making tons and tons of marmalade

The cake looks good and I had a quick walk round the block whilst it was baking :T
[STRIKE]Chef[/STRIKE] Mr MWC is in Belgium - back late tomorrow - so tomatoes on toast for dinner :rotfl:
I had a neck/shoulders/back massage today - it was subsidised by work so only cost me £5

The cake was a big success - I impressed people by baking a cake using HM marmalade and eggs laid in the back garden
Arrived home at lunchtime to find 5/8 chickens trashing my part of the garden
We'll need to fortify the chicken run this weekend - they escape but they forget how to get back in at bedtime.. I found Miss LRH, Miss Gladys and Miss Effie roosting in the raised bed yesterday evening! I spent the afternoon pressure-washing the chicken coop and Mr MWC has promised to dig out and replace the wood chip in the run tomorrow.
11 days to pay day...
