A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

  • Today:

    - a NSD :T

    - received a letter from BS - interest rate on my ISA reduces from 2.75% to 1% at the end of the month :( I need to find out if I can open a new ISA and transfer the balance as I have already used my ISA allowance this year on an ISA that pays 4.25% but doesn't allow transfers in

    - received a statement for the stocks & shares ISA that will hopefully pay off the IO mortgage in 2028 (if we haven't already done so :D) = £22,248.90 on 30 November 2012

    - leftover soup from yesterday for lunch

    - sausage, barley & kale stew from the meal plan for dinner tonight

    - cooked the last of the bargainous plums bought at the end of last year - mulled plums & blueberries

Still 2 weeks to pay day

  • What a beautiful morning :):):) I thoroughly enjoyed my 25-mile cross-country drive to work even though I was delayed due to an accident - snow-covered fields, a heavy hoarfrost on the trees and the sun was the same shade of orange as my chicken coop :D
