    Plan for today:
More laundry - 3 loads done
Stocktake jam jars and lids - I'm not entirely sure whats in the shed... done - there's enough jars and more than enough lids :T
    A bit more gardening
    Clean chicken coop
Go for a 6.5 mile ramble - done - found brilliant new lane for foraging :T
    Pick apples - done
Buy gin - didn't get to Mr M in time, will go tomorrow
Defrost sloes and make sloe gin
Make a start on the first batch of hedgerow jelly - defrost blackberries, bullaces and elderberries, cook with apples and strain overnight
Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
    Mortgage-free: January 2021
Retired: June 2022 (186 months early!)

    It's been a lovely weekend :D

Several kilos of apples picked this afternoon and also sloes, bullaces and a few elderberries :T

List nearly complete but buying gin/making sloe gin will have to carry over to another day

    Congrats to both of you.

    RIP Miss Marjorie :(
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Happy Anniversay.
Sorry to hear about Miss M though.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
