Wrong chook pic teapot - that's Miss Clarissa!

Ooops - apologies to Miss C & Miss E for misrepresentation on my part. I deleted some of the photos as was talking about Miss E but was obviously too enthusiastic!
  • Another newbie, probably Miss Clarissa, has laid an egg :T It's brown and weighs 45 g :)

I had been worried that I'd left it too late after reading your post the other day however I'd picked 500 g of blackberries within 10 m of the gate. The field is a 5 minute walk from the town centre and I can't believe that it hasn't been "discovered". Perhaps the people in my home town prefer their blackberries from WR

Mr MWC is making sushi for lunch so probably tamago/Japanese omelette Greying

700 miles is one heck of a hike :T It takes up so much time too

What will you do now? Do you plan to continue?

    What were the personal benefits?

I have no doubt - not being in any way medically trained, you understand - that it will have done you a power of good both mentally and physically.

Well done - that is the second one from me to you in a week (if you want to see the first you'll have to go hunting)
  • Mr GG

Thank you for my "well dones"

The benefits were: I lost 13 lbs, I feel fitter, I'm sleeping better at night and I'm less tired mid-afternoon at work :D

I'm still wearing my pedometer and plan to continue with daily lunchtime walks around the park, evening walks 2-3 times/week and a longer walk at the weekend. Minimum 10,000 steps/day.

2 loads of laundry done and pegged out - another 2 to do

Gingered rhubarb & fig chutney made :T I'll finish off the second batch of spiced crab apple jelly later.

I never made it to the garden centre yesterday so will go today :)

I also need to pack as I'm off on a 2-day business trip to Germany at 05:00 tomorrow

Hope everyone has a lovely day
