Not a NSD today... I've done the weekly shop this afternoon and spent 71p real money
Actually, I spent £40.71 but I used 8000 nectar points :T
8 pints of milk = £2.00
1 loaf of bread = £1.25
Vegetables = £19.85 :eek: I didn't even buy anything exotic...
1 bag of apples & a carton of grape juice = £0.01 :T yes, 1p! I had a coupon for a free carton of juice and the full price was deducted even though it was on offer
Brita water filters = £16.00 (half-price and same price as Amazon)
Sainsburys magazine = £1.60 (I also picked up a copy of their Live Well For Less free magazine and it has quite a few recipes that I will try)Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Fruit and veg are just so horrendously expensive:( no wonder low income households struggle to maintain a balanced diet of fresh produce.
