Making chicken feed of my mortgage

I'm ready to come home - only 24 hours until my flight

The training course (external course held at my company's HQ) has generally been quite good (although a couple of lectures were terrible) however it has been a worthwhile trip for the schmoozing with management alone (yesterday evening I had dinner with someone who sits on the promotion board
)
I drank too many black cherry mojitos tonight though and now I feel sick

Jet lag :mad:
Yesterday's egg update:
Eggs IN 4
Eggs OUT 24 (4 boxes given to friends & family)
We went clay pigeon shooting yesterday... it was fun but I was rubbish... 3/30
The garden has grown so much in the week I was away :T
The Girls got into the garden one day but, thankfully, didn't do too much damage before Mr MWC realised that he hadn't closed the gate properly
Today I have to:
Mow the lawn
Sow more seeds in the raised beds
Pot up the 6 cannas that arrived whilst I was away :shhh:
Lots of laundry
Update my CV (I was contacted by a recruiter whilst I was away
)

AND, as it was payday whilst I was away, I also need to shuffle money :j
I have some "spare" money this month - I was going to MOP it but my job security is looking a bit dodgy at the moment so I think I will open an ISA insteadMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Morning MWC - lovely to have you 'back'
Not so good about the jet lag tho'
Glad the girls 'kept guard' over the garden and kept mrMWC on his toes
without making whoopee with your plants
I've noticed a 'lushness' to foliage etc on trees and hedges this week - spring really has burst forth eh?

Glad you enjoyed clay pigeon shooting, it's good fun isn't it? We went last year, I can't say I'm very good at it though.
Have you thought about opening a TSB Plus account that pays 5% interest on up to £2K? I opened 2 instead of an ISA for now, you just need to run £500 through it each month and they pay interest on the 2nd working day of the month. Around £8 a month on £2K!0 -
Hi MWC,
I opened the S@ntander 123 account as my ISA was being pathetic. You get cashback too so it's proving quite lucrative.
Hope the jet lag is passing.

Good morning Greying, Beckyy & Thistle :wave:
The Girls must have been too stunned to eat - either that or I haven't realised what plants they've had yet :rotfl:
I hadn't considered opening another current a/c for my savings as I'm happy with N/wide but I will give it some more thought :think:
Mr MWC is awake - time for second breakfast!
