There are rumours circulating that the company I work for might be acquired by a rival. This rival company has a reputation for asset stripping and then closing down their acquisitions... so I need to get back to basics, rein in my spending and get rid of this mortgage ASAP just in case the worse happens...Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
