I'm sorry not to have been visiting your diary for ages MWC - HR really are a questionable function in many organisations (for those HR professionals reading however, this doesn't apply to you obs ;)) and you deserve to be recognised for your worth.

Kate Bush will be amazing - I'll put in a special request to the universe for your tickets. My treat:D

Finally, and most importantly, Mothering Sunday can be a really painful day so I'm sending you the largest and most heartfelt hug all the way from Scotland :grouphug:

    Thanks for the dodgy hug.
It's not my most favouritest of days - both my mum and MIL died of cancer too early and our attempts to have children were unsuccessful :(:(:(

Definitely agree on the hype - and how painful it is for people whose mothers have gone, several friends from here who're now on f/b have been posting about it :(

    Take care, MWC.

PS. Glad to hear your gardening-in-the-dark skills are top notch ;)

Have a dodgy English hug to go with all the Scottish ones. :grouphug:

Sometimes you just have to put your fingers in your ears and go "la la la" until the special day is over. Mother's day isn't so bad for me - I miss my own mum but I have my kids - but Valentine's day is a "la la la can't hear you" day for me.

  • Hi, I feel the same on Father's Day. Miss him all the time but I talk to him frequently. :o

Take it easy MWC and enjoy your garden.

I'm guessing Miss LRH and the girls are out and about? Not by your beds though
