Confession time... I've been researching plants and spending money rather than meal planning :o

    Yes I noticed . I'm starving :(

Hurray to researching plants! I've been research whether bark chippings are acidic, does that count? :D:D:D

I think they are Karmacat. Am on sand - lots of sand - so acidic anyway here without the bark chippings.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

MWC, excuse me answering this in the same post as yours above. Watty, I googled again just to be sure, and its *pine* bark mulch thats acidic, not bark per se. Any mulch can turn "sour", apparently - needs a little bit of oxygen, or lots of water if its already turned.

I can't believe that this time I thought it might actually happen... I'm so disappointed in myself :(

I've been trying to get a career progression plan for 3 years. Last year my boss had a half-hearted attempt; however, this year I think he really did try. According to him, local HR are in agreement but global HR aren't interested. The problem is that my current role (the one that far exceeds my job description ) doesn't map on to the company-wide career ladder...

Tonight, I shall be updating linked-in, updating my CV and job-hunting
