Hey MWC - was thinking of you last night. We finally caught up with the episode of the Culture Show that was shown.... I think it was last Saturday night (BBC2). Anyway, they were talking about the Viking exhibition that is on at the British Museum. I thought it was going to be a proper look at the exhibition itself, but it turned out to be a little bit of a travel jolly for Andrew Graham-Dixon - nice work if you can get it (he's not as interesting without Giorgio in tow
)
Anyhoo, he got to swan off to Norway - cue wonderful scenic panoramas and lovely lake views. I couldn't quite remember where you said you were headed, but basically, he went to the Viking boat museum in Oslo - wow-wee! There was the most beautifully carved boat there - absolutely stunning. I was just thinking that if you were in the vicinity....... He also got to go to a remote island to view a 12th century church that had Viking origins - again, an absolutely stunning thing to see (the church, the scenery, the carving....) but I suspect that that won't be on your itinerary, as it was obviously a remote location for a BBC film crew to get too!
Don't know if it is still on I-player, and I'm not sure you've the time to watch, but just thought I would mention it........
You did well yesterday. Hope the girls are doing good

Hi MWC
Hope you're well and no aches after the gardening!
When you get a minute could you please post a wee photo of your raised beds as I am planning some but need to be a bit creative with my space!
Love to the girls

Hello sheilds :wave:
Here you go!
At some point, we shall put a low fence across the front and put bark chipping around the raised beds. And then I plan to grow stepover apple and pear trees in front of the fence :cool:
The third raised bed 4' x 2' is closer to the house (sheltered sun trap) and will be used for tomatoesMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
