My legs don't ache after yesterday's 10-mile walk but I am very weary this afternoon!
I'm thinking about making marmalade however I forgot to buy lemons and I didn't buy nearly enough demerara sugar and I can't really be bothered to go out again... sounds like a job for next weekend :rotfl:
As if we haven't eaten enough rich food this weekend, Mr MWC is cooking NS's lamb shanks with crushed roots (port & prune variation) and the suggested red cabbage dish (cooked with coriander seed, red wine vinegar, chilli and a little stock) for dinner!!!Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

It smells amazing - I'm drooling already!
Did I know that you were vegetarian?! I don't think so  Have you seen the delicious and frugal veggie meals that Greying Pilgrim cooks over on DFW?Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Our favourite dish was salt-baked jerusalem artichokes with fresh truffle and an egg yolk - we have some fartichokes in the fridge so Mr MWC will try to recreate it
We walked 14.5 miles in total over 2 days along the Norfolk Coast Path (between Wells-next-the-sea and Burnham Overy Staithe, and back) - it was tough going in the strong wind
No comment :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

That red cabbage sounds lovely - might have to do something similar for our Wednesday meal!
