  • It was a beautiful day here so I took advantage of some free time this afternoon and walked round the Promenade again - this time in the opposite direction!

No egg update as Mr MWC isn't answering his phone

Today's late start and early finish will soon be forgotten... I have a 7 o'clock start tomorrow, a full day's work and then a late flight back to the UK :(

    Eggs IN 4
    Eggs OUT 0

I've had my first alcoholic drink of 2014 - a glass of white wine with dinner :)

I've also eaten chocolate for the first time this year today - a mixture of granola, chocolate chip muesli and cocopops with natural yogurt and berry compote for breakfast

Luckily they were January-only resolutions :rotfl: and I'm doing OK with the February resolutions :T

  • Eggs IN 7 (3 yesterday, 4 today)
Eggs OUT 10 (1 box sold for £1.25, 4 poached for dinner)

Yesterday was a rubbish day :( I was glad to get home albeit late and a bit damp from where the stewardess had spilt a glass of wine in my lap

I'm glad you like recipe as much as we do :T You've reminded me that I need to e-mail some of our favourite curry recipes to the chap I was visiting in Germany.

The Girls are well are truly fed up now :( Their bit of the garden is VERY muddy with huge puddles so they are frequenting my bit of the garden. I'm glad we don't live in flood risk area. As a special treat, they have melon for tomorrow.

Glad you had a good trip MWC. Shame your housie shop didn't have a few must-have treats tp make the most of whilst you were there.

Your poor girls sound like ours - we're going to have to change the orientation of the run roof and move the water butt as we think this is contributing to the moat around the hen house.

Melon sounds an excellent treat, do you mash it, cube it of just pop them a slice?
