Eggs OUT 20 (2 boxes sold for £2.75, 8 used for dinner - 2 fresh, 6 frozen)
Roast root vegetable frittata for dinner with a spinach salad (:shhh: don't tell The Girls that I'm eating their treat!)Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Now MWC, how are the girls going to be able to keep you in eggs, along with a surplus to sell, if you eat their treats?:eek:
I'm making the five root soup on Friday and Mr T is knocking up sage and onion (spring onion from Christmas) rolls to go with it.

They've been eating my lawn for the past few weeks so I don't feel too guilty about giving them less green treats! They are still getting more than their fair share of corn/seeds/mealworms
Have you tried the 5-root soup before? It's yummy especially when made with HFW's quick veg stock.Mortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Hi MWC, nope, I've not made the soup before but you've reminded me to check the recipe in case I need to make the stock beforehand

Back from the supermarket:
We walked :T (+2 miles)
We didn't get too wet :T
We stuck to the shopping list :T
We didn't spend any "real" money (£15 of points/vouchers) :T
We won't need to buy anything else until at least Sunday :T
I've also spent £5.98 of my Christmas Amazon vouchers on a peppermint bark chocolate mouldMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000
