Well done for going below £135k! :Ta penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. Thanks US - 2013 was a particularly good year!
I've just made our first £1,000 MOP of 2014
£1,000/month is doable and will mean that we are mortgage free by the end of 2020... BUT... I'm racing Natty to be mortgage free by the start of 2020 so a little extra belt tightening will be required :rotfl:
I'm pleased to report that I won't be ordering anything from the Next Directory, I've requested a payment of £8.06 from TCB and a £10 voucher from CP, and I've resisted purchasing seeds onlineMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

What a lovely start to 2014's OPs - may there be many more to come!

Looking back at last year's resolutions, I didn't do too well (apart from exceeding the MOP target!) so this year I am going to have monthly resolutions:
January
1. 25 NSDs
2. Grocery and chicken treat budget = £40 cash + vouchers/points/coupons (excl. chieftain haggis for Burns supper)
3. Walk 75 miles
4. No alcohol
5. No chocolate
6. Lose 8lbsMortgage at highest (April 2008): ~£195,000

Can I just clarify, 2020 will be MORTGAGE NEUTRAL for natty. In order for me to be mortgage free I would have to be turning tricks at least 4X a week, and with the return of the Apprentice and possibly a new series of LLL, my evenings will fill up rather quickly. Just don't have the time really.February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D
