  • I have a toilet roll mountain :D
Well probably only a hillock compared to Tilly's but I'm proud of it :rotfl:
    9-pack with 100% extra free x 2 packs = 36 rolls for £10
Used a £10 coupon so 36 rolls for nothing :T

About to have a late lunch of celeriac, apple & blue stilton soup

Miss LRH is the only chook laying at the moment

Today has been a nothing day apart from the bargainous toilet rolls - mainly catching up with sleep. I'll have to be more productive tomorrow!

  • Good morning

    Jobs for today:

    - clean chicken coop
    - tidy garden
    - do at least 4 loads of laundry
    - write Christmas cards
    - make candied orange peel
    - make tablet
    - order food grade cellophane bags
    - label jars for hampers
    - make shopping list for lemon curd and cookie ingredients

Mr MWC needs to speak to his sister to find out if we're cooking Christmas dinner for 2 or 9...

    No difference there :rotfl:

Your day sounds very productive and wholesome MWC, enjoy it.

So what did I actually do today... :rotfl:

    - cleaned chicken coop
    - cleaned shoes
    - did 4 loads of laundry and hung 2 outside as it was mild and breezy :T
    - made tablet (having a sugar rush now!)
    - made candied orange peel up to the stage where I have to leave it for 24 hours
    - went for a walk with Mr MWC
    - made plans to visit my brother between Christmas and New Year (still no decision from SIL...)
    - ordered food grade cellophane bags

Slow-cooked Memphis ribs with roasted sweet potato/squash/parsnip and HM coleslaw for dinner :D

  • Mr MWC is threatening to buy me shower feet

In true :money: style, he says he's going to wait until it's less than half price in the sales and buy it for my birthday!

Eggs OUT 0 (I'm saving them now for Christmas baking and lemon curd making!)

Today's commute was even more horrible than normal - stuck behind a tractor for 4.8 miles this morning and then stuck in a long queue of traffic behind something doing 35 mph for 9.8 miles this evening

Mr MWC has sold some more shares today (record high price :T) and he has no idea what to do with the money :rotfl:

I've just put the share money in my mortgage spreadsheet and it reduces the term by 1 year + 4 months - I think we've found a use for the money :D
