  • I'm home :j and I've already been foraging for elderberries :)

This afternoon/evening I will be making Christmas puddings and starting another batch of hedgerow jelly. I also have enough elderberries to make elderberry liqueur (supposed to taste like tawny port!) and possibly pontack sauce

The Girls were pleased to see me :D

  • I have not stopped since arriving home on Friday - back to work for a rest :rotfl:

    I have:
    - made Christmas puddings (1 x medium, 8 x individual)
    - made 10 jars of hedgerow jelly
    - made 2.5 bottles of pontack sauce
    - put the rest of the elderberries in a litre of vodka with some lemon zest (= elderberry liqueur)
    - made 3 jars of pickled onions
    - had my hair cut (70 mile round trip)
    - popped in and had a cup of tea with my dad
    - had dinner with Mr MWC's family on Saturday night
    - made numerous pompoms for my Big Knit hats
    - been to Wembley to watch the NFL game

    Pay day today :j

  • Eggs IN 5
Eggs OUT 12 (2 boxes of eggs swapped for a box of apples, pears & plums :T)

The plums have been cooked with the juice & zest of 1 orange. I'll freeze the puree and use it to make plum, apple & sloe gin mincemeat next month. The apples and pears should be OK until after my holiday.

I'm too busy to do the financials  as housework must be done this evening - dust/hoover upstairs, change bedding, clean bathroom and laundry :(

Eggs OUT 18 (3 boxes sold for £4.50)

    Sleeps until holiday 2
Days left at work until holiday 1 :j

I still haven't had time to look at the financials and make a MOP... maybe tomorrow but it might have to wait until I'm on holiday

    This evening I need to:
    - clean downstairs
    - ask the neighbours if they are available for chicken sitting
    - send a few work e-mails
    - write shopping list for tomorrow evening (I have a £10 payday bonus to use in Morrisons so I will buy non-perishables)
    - think about packing (luckily we are staying with my aunt so if needs be I can take dirty laundry and unironed clothes with me :D)

I must remember to buy a new home card for my brother and his girlfriend before we go away. They have just bought their first house and their house-warming gift from us will be £100 to make their first MOP :T
