  • I'm home... well not quite, I'm a couple of hundred miles from home on a business trip :(

    11:30 Plane landed
    13:00 Arrived home
13:00 - 14:00 Said hello to The Girls (all 9 present + in good health :)), unpacked, opened post and Mr MWC started the laundry
    14:00 - 15:00 Walked to supermarket (2-mile round trip)
15:00 - 16:00 Cleaned chicken coop whilst Mr MWC cooked, ate (toast, baked beans, poached egg, fried tomatoes)
    16:00 - 17:00 Showered, packed for 2-night business trip
17:00 Left the house to walk to the railway station

Holiday purchases included trousers x 3, coat, jacket, tops x 2, tanktop, trainers, maple syrup, Niagara ice wine, my favourite pan cleaner, turkey brining salt/spice blend and more lancome lotions & potions (and freebies +++) - none of the purchases show on this month's credit card statement :T

As well as shopping, we also ate at Momofuku, saw the new George Clooney/Sandra Bullock movie - Gravity, walked miles & miles & miles, and celebrated my aunt's 75th birthday and Thanksgiving :)

    Eggs IN 3
    Eggs OUT 2 (poached)

Yes, I'm looking forward to getting home. The only problem with getting back to normality is that I will arrive home on tomorrow evening and Mr MWC leaves on a 5-day business trip to Spain on Friday.

Actually, that is kind of normal for us... :rotfl:
