    I had to manually enter the apn details for O2 PAYG for my friend. The phone configured itself for Tesco Mobile (it was the Vodafone brand by the way) for some reason. She definitely is on O2 PAYG and not Tesco.

    lucky dip I guess, I am on O2 Business also on an ICS Rom so could be various factors. From memory, sometimes putting new network sim in can trigger a push of settings from the operator that you just have to accept, I like those!

    Yes it was odd. Looking at her My O2 Account, it said that settings could not be sent for this phone.

    Everything worked for phone and text once the sim was put in but not mobile internet.
