where has my happy boy gone?

I've got no advice about the looking at !!!!!! part, but my youngest has just started secondary school and has turned into the child from hell - I think a lot of it is exhaustion. They've learned so much during the last few weeks, met hundreds of new people, probably have a far longer walk to school each day, carrying a heavy bag, being the youngest in a sea of huge people, lots of homework, plus all the hormones and new emotions; its not surprising they're tired and horrible. Hopefully things will calm down a bit after half term.
