I like Tesco's idea where they give you 1 green clubcard point for each one of your own bags you use. You can use any bags and it means you can use the same bags again and again till they die...and if they are the bag for life variety you can then have them replaced.

Only drawback is remembering to take them with you....:undecided

What about if you get your shopping delivered? They often put just 1 or 2 items in a bag on their own, which means you end up with zillions of bags each week and nowhere to keep them. Will the delivery man now be willing to COLLECT these next time he delivers, I wonder?? Otherwise they'll have to go out with the rubbish..... :-(
  • well i went shopping and swappd all my carrier bags for 10 bags for life vouchers and managed to claim all of them in the one shop which is great as i only go there about once a month to 6 weeks...

Tesco.com have a policy where the driver will take any bags with them that you have, just hand them over when they deliver your shopping

    Yes I think so

They are almost certainly going to cost more than this. I will see when I am in on Saturday as I forgot to look today.

I handed over two coupons today, she scanned 2 bags for life. Only when I got home, I realised she hadn't scanned the coupons :(
For anyone who wants to know how much the bags are - they cost 5p each as I found out today!
