  • This is extra sweet for me as a friend of mine fell for a fake PCN from CP Plus a couple of years ago. I educated him after CP Plus tried it on with me and now he ignores like a pro. His wife was aware of the scam and so when Euro Car Parks tried to fleece her she ignored all their crap too.

I assume a knuckle dragger from ECP will be following this thread, so I'd just like to say:

  • Clearly, if they want money for their car park, they need to work for it like everyone else. Lazy smart asses!

    Excellent result

Their will be a transcript available. I would love to be able to fund it myself, but am not able to but would happily chip in if others would be interested in having one made available for other cases/ further campaigning.

I will receive the actual notice from the court early next week, but in the meantime the case was 2QT19160, heard on 9/10/12, at Wandsworth County Court.

Please contact me via PM if you would like any further info.

Mephis, WELL DONE. I have learnt so much from here and saved myself from paying two of these speculative invoices. I would love to read the transcript and happily offer you £25 towards starting a transcript fund. PM me a paypal address.

Does this result set a precedent then. Sorry if already mentioned I don't have time just now to read all the responses.

No County Court Judgements do not set legally binding precedents.

Sam, and others, a transcript fund won't be required, the wheels are already in motion to get that at no cost to anyone on here.

Will post up the details when available.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

ages ago an amateur stand-up comic told me: 'the best laughs I ever get is when I say something unintentional'.

step forward ECP: the best 'unintentional comic for 2012'.

check out the last but one paragraph and imagine yourself attempting subtle persuasion of a co. court judge by................insulting the judge's intelligence or questioning his/her diligence by spelling out a recent change of law!

forget the rest of the drivel (including the 'charity' guff). this one paragraph was enough to shaft any chance of success.
  • OK taking down the letter now, for confidentiality, and so that it doesn't get abused.

Thanks Sam for the offer, and Bargepole for his help.
