gailey, you're more than welcome. Approved Foods is a bit hit and miss, yes.
rufydoofyM well spotted have had their cheeses before, all very good but not that cheap, will have to add to order thanks for that.0 -
I came across a soft French? cheese as well when I was on Ocado last night, think there were something like 340+ offers on organic foods when I checked.
Some good Ecover offers too! (though Sainsbury's prob best overall for Ecover offers as not bundled).0 -
I'd have bought more Ecover Kirri but OH is grumbling about the amount in the bottom of the larder already
People say Ocado is really expensive but every week but one I've beat Tesco brand prices using them and got a voucher the one week Ocado didn't.
My mother picked up some YS organic chicken in Sainsbos yesterday to show me and it was still more expensive than I had bought on offer at Ocado.
Last Ocado order I saved over $11 on offers, I agree entirely that it's possible to save loads of money with Ocado.
Sainsbury's SO organic range is getting bigger though.0 -
Ecover ^ can go a bit gloopy if kept too long too.
Nearly everything in my basket is an organic offer on Ocado!
Plus I don't order very often so always have a 20% off £40 spend.
Makes it very good value for me!
Only thing that there are hardly any free delivery offers, the ones showing as 0.00 are only free if spending over £70 which I'd never do, they sometimes put these slots to 0.00 on £40 spends as well but seems very rare these days but still even if I pay £2.99 which is the cheapest I'll still be saving money.
I used to live near a Sainsbury's so used them a lot back then and did have a good range, when organic first got a lot of press after the big GM scare years ago, they used to have an organic section in store, I hated it when they spread them all out around the store in with the other products.0 -

re Ecover - sorry I am not convinced about this brand. Although its more natural than Lenor and Ariel etc, the ingredients are not as natural/organic as I would hope for.
Ecover Washing Up Liquid Camomile & Marigold
Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate, Alkyl Poly Glycoside C10-16, Sodium Chloride, Whey (this is the only product in the Ecover range which contains a small percentage of animal ingredient), Citric Acid, Perfume, Limonene, 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol, Marigold extract, Camomile extract
Ecover Concentrated Laundry Liquid - Non-Biological - Complete ingredients list:
The list below displays ingredients in descending order, with those present in highest quantities first.

Well done on the bargains Kirri :T When I started using Ocado I got a discount on the annual delivery pass which means I get a weekend slot for 0.00 not 6.99
Don't remember seeing organic in its own section in Sainsbury's but it was in ASDA and then most of it appeared in the tinned/world foods aisle.
Have to say that Sainsbury's SO organic range is easy to pick out with practice but Marks and Spencer's organic stuff isn't as loads of different packaging - for example eggs, milk, tea have nothing in common except the word organic in different sizes and fonts.
berbastrike, with Ecover, I could be wrong but I think the basic idea is to replace phosphate detergents with detergents which break down into less harmful, less polluting stuff.
I'm not convinced that washing up liquid, shampoo, washing powder, fabric/hair conditioner and dishwasher stuff could ever be completely natural. Besides which, arsenic is natural but toxic..
vincenta.. if only I had seen your post before I went to Sainsbury's yesterday !0 -
