That is expensive! Though never having bought it I couldn't compare.
I've also used products from this company as one of the organic shops I use stocks them.

In my experience, doctors, consultants and nurses vary from sceptical to outright against low carb, but are all smiles when my blood results are so good. I refrain from pointing out that my results are from my hard work not theirs
No I haven't come across whole9 or whole30 will check those out thanks.
Some Primal and Paleo eaters have dairy, others don't. I figured better to have actual dairy rather than non-dairy creamers and soya milks, so I have organic semi-skimmed UNhomogenised Guernsey milk, organic live yogurt, and organic cheeses plus occasional double/sour/clotted cream and creme fraiche organic if poss.
I eat organic free range eggs, LOTS of organic veg, preferably low GI ones and salad - use organic rocket, spinach and watercress instead of lettuce. Most fruit spikes me so really only eat organic strawberries, cherries, pears and melons.
Wild fish or organic farmed, wild seafood, wild game eg pheasant, partridge, venison, rabbit. Organic chicken, lamb, beef.
Organic Earl Grey/herb teas, organic ground coffee, Evian, Badoit.
Home-made food from scratch 99.9% of time. Most processed I get would be organic Laverstoke Park Farm black pudding, Seeds of Change organic Mediterranean pasta sauce (no pasta), Lindt 90% cocoa chocolate occasionally (14g carbs per 100g bar), organic mayo, two scoops Green & Black's organic chocolate ice cream verry occasionally, occasional organic tinned soup, occasional jar Swedish non-organic traditional pickled herring.
No bread, pasta, rice, cereals, grains, pizza, takeaway, sodas, juices, squashes, cordials, sausages, cakes, biscuits, pies, desserts.
It's not boring though.0 -
Yup it is expensive.. the other ghee I used to use was the Khanum ghee without ethyl butyrate and I think that was 5.95 for 500g tins. Utterly delicious, reminded me of clotted cream.
Thanx for that Kirri, not seen Hambleden Herbs at all round here. On the cookery course with my mother we have to take mostly fresh herbs so we'll get a growing herb between us probably (cheapest place for them is Lidl unless yellow stickered in ASDA).
You reminded me to check list thanks xx0 -
My latest discovery and on offer, coffee liqueur. Its thick and so yummy. Just trying at room temp at the mo since ice cubes aren't ready yet. Deffinitely recommend

Edwardia I read on the other thread you are having a delivery from Riverford soon, so they are delivering in your area now. Thats great news.
I had a veg box from them and although I was abit overwhelmed at what to do with alot of the vegetables (many I hadn't heard of) it was all of a great quality and my mum thought it was the best veg she had ever tasted.'Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves'0 -
Yep having my first order Friday but not a box yet. I like to try veg first see what they are like. My mother had same reaction when she had organic food at Christmas with us. Lots of this tastes amazings and questions about GM food.
On my travels round the internet today I found gluten free German organic pizza bases and organic Bulgarian goat's milk Gouda from online stores in UK plus a French video of two bananas having sex and promoting the benefits of organic food
nouvelle soft loo rolls 4 pack 1.49 from 24/01 Lidl

Hi I have come over for a look as suggested as I had taken delivery of my first organic veg delivery today and must say very very impressed I used The Organic Fresh Food Company based in Lampeter in Wales and they were friendly and fab service. The veg we had tonight in tea was lovely and kids aged (11 and 9) couldnt get enough of the raw carrot - fab just what you want kids munching fresh veg my idea of a brilliant delivery0

Hi sarah222 and welcome to the thread, we're very friendly on here so if you have questions just ask.
Glad your kids loved the carrots, must admit we get through 1.5kg a week just the two of us.0 -
Organic beetroot, carrots and cabbage in steamer this evening mmm really looking forward to the beetroot that is what influenced me to try more as I found the taste exceptional when I bought them before. Does anyone else like hot beetroot with casseroles or roasts? When I tell friends they look aghast at me thinking it a salad veg and that it!0
