Another fruit & veg box delivery service for Londoners although if you live in East London or extreme South London you're out of luck. There's a recipe section too if anyone is seeking inspiration.

My uncle is French and he is adamant that food there is lots cheaper than here. There seems to be more organic food in supermarkets as well.
I think UK supermarkets have a bit of a stranglehold on the availability of organic food outside of London.
Had last Ocado delivery before Christmas and a Daylesford organic fruit bread has gone in freezer for OH and mother to have with cheese and chutney. Neither of them likes it so they will have Branston and piccalilli. I refused to pay 4.95 for organic piccalilli and OH likes Hayward's which is on offer at Co-op for £1 at moment.
OH doesn't like Tesco or Sainsbury's organic mince he prefers Waitrose British rose veal mince which isn't organic but doesn't have nasties and isn't fed on GM feed (I checked with Waitrose) and have to say it tastes gorgeous.
I did buy some venison mince when on offer at Abel & Cole and that is really lovely. If you're lucky, some ASDAs do wild game mix at reasonable prices as well as venison grillsteaks and burgers. My local ASDA stopped selling them and the burgers were great.
Morrisons sells Highland Game venison burgers but they have pork in them so we haven't bought them.
Thank you for the information. You are right about the supermarkets stranglehold outside of London, I live in the North West and it is difficult to get a hold of organic produce that isn't from a supermarket or an online delivery service.
Talking of supermarkets I have just been to my local Sainsburys and got the organic thighs and drumsticks reduced from £4 to £2.69 and an organic chicken from £11.69 to £7.84.'Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves'0 -
bornintoit - was Sainsbury's heaving with people ? Well done on the bargains :T
I found this list of organic farms in the North West if it helps ?

Another foreign one.. this time Dutch.
https://www.typicaldutchstuff.com lists 30 organic products. Shipping by FedEx to UK is 16.25 euros up to 10kg at today's rate that's 13.22 so not particularly cheap. There's an option for sending small parcels by Dutch post though.0 -

There were quite a few people but not that bad considering xmas is just around the corner. I've been there three times this week hoping to get some reduced organic chicken, I did buy two reduced yeo valley 1lt whole milks £1 down to 80p during the week. I don't think organic sells well in the store'Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves'0 -
I find that organic milk disappears off shelves like hotcakes in local Sainsbury's and often there's none left when I get there on a Friday.
That's why I get Moo organic UHT. Have ordered Abel & Cole fresh organic for Christmas Eve as my champion tea-drinking mother will want fresh not UHT.
I'm feeling a tad Christmassier now as writing Christmas cards and have Christmas songs (not carols) on laptop. :snow_laug:xmassmile:rudolf::santa2:0 -

Milkandmore https://www.milkandmore.co.uk
This summer my husband was away and Milkandmore had an offer on Evian. I figured this would be great as I wouldn't have to lug it back from supermarket.
Got as far as registering and though my intention was to pay by debit card immediately, not ask for credit, I got refused. I called Milkandmore and explained. I was told that the Experian software they use to check ID had told them I don't match Experian's records.
I contacted my council and checked that the details they have for me on Electoral Roll are correct. Then I contacted Experian. After several attempts I got through to a human who gave me a number to call.
I had to sign up to an Experian ID theft protection free trial and wait several days for a PIN before I could register and call up and talk to someone. They checked their records and everything they had ID wise was identical to the council's records. I learned that there was no problem with my credit record it was Excellent. No record of any ID theft attempts either.
So a lot of hassle to find out that somehow between Experian and Milkandmore customer services, there's a glitch in the software and it means I can't buy from Milkandmore. Go figure :rotfl:

^ They frequently cycle the offers round though on M&M and it is free delivery - I don't use them often but sometimes when stuff is on offer it is worth it ie Yeo Valley yoghurt pots often down to 1.00 etc. They also offer irregular user £5 off £10 frequently and free items are offered very regularly though is usually choc. So worth using if pick and choose when.
Won't help you though with your billing problems!
Oh just remembered, did I see Ocado doing 4 x YV butter for £5, think I had a price alert email from MySupermarket but not checked the actual Ocado website.0 -
Just checked Ocado and it's 4 Yeo Valley essentials ie any 2 milks, 1 butter and 1 cream for £5 until 02/01/13.
Yes their offers may be helpful to people but the normal prices are :eek:0 -
