I ordered the organic seed catalogue Kirri and will definately be placing an order. One thing well be parsley because our rabbit loves it and she should have the best

My Gpigs totally agree they should have the best - my fussiest one doesn't even eat the middle of an organic lettuce leaf...
For any other G&B addicts, it's back on offer at Ocado, not quite as cheap as last time (the small bars were 3.66 per set last time and now it's £8 for two  ) so I have £8 of chocolate in my basket now...
My choice of shampoo, and I've tried loads, is Jason Natural and my faves are either aloe or sea kelp. I buy from Essentials London as it's usually on offer but noticed that Ocado now stock some Jason stuff. They have 122 organic toiletries now I think it was including Avalon and Green People and I love both of these brands too.
Organic items on Ocado 1727
Organic veggie items on Ocado 1020
Organic gluten free items on Ocado 267
and I thought I had little choice!!
As it's winter I've had to start using moisturiser and my current 3 faves are:
Dr Hauschka - Melissa day cream
Bloom Remedies - Daily balance cream 77% org
Aubrey - blue green algae (think this has been discontinued)
Edwardia - as chief Higgidy buyer on here, with the buy 10 get 1 free tokens, can you mix and match items?0 -

My goodness Edwardia this wheat/gluten thing seems really complex... I will have to sit down on a quiet day and try to get my head around it!
Many thanks for all all of the links to.
I am thinking of getting organic shampoo and conditioner. I am allergic to sodium laureth sulfate so I have to be careful. I use good quality old fashioned soap to shower with but need something for my hair. I will have a look.

Don't forget that toothpaste often has SLS's in! We use Weleda or Green People. Green People's is probably closest to 'ordinary' toothpastes.0 -
Thanks for that ^ Callie22
I tried the Daniel Galvin Junior hairjuice watermelon conditioner which is organic - works really well - just can't stand the pungent fake watermelon smell !

Try the DGJ kids shampoos, cheaper too:

Can't answer for its detangling ability though, and there are other flavours.
Avalon shampoos are okay

We tend to use whichever is cheapest amongst the organic shampoos/conditioners. Didn't like the look of the organic Timotei ingredients though... Waitrose used to do their own brand, don't know if they still do?
And Earth Friendly Baby organic shampoo/conditioner/showerwash are on a 3 for 2

Can't see any problem using kids hair/body products myself?0 -
smallblueplanet I have no probs using kids' stuff as I've been using Johnson's Baby Shampoo for years but just didn't like the really strong whiff of watermelon - the DGJ organic conditioner did work really well tho.
I will take note of suggs too and look on Ocado as I've got order coming Saturday.
Kirri, Green & Black's organic chocolate 100g 2 for £3 to 10/11 at Morrisons.
Due to OH's digestive issues (over a week now of no bread/gluten = zero probs) not buying Higgidys nowBut they seem to do it on basis of greatest number of size X = coupon for that size. I will get a small one/couple for Christmas for my veggie mother as she lurves them.
Last night OH and I decided to give all the normal organic bread and rolls in freezer to my mother to give to friend who does a weekly stint in a soup kitchen for the homeless - also anything like Respect carrot cake (organic dairy free but not gluten free) and larger Higgidy quiches.0 -

Yeah, I've always thought it odd to have separate shampoos but I guess that's marketing!
Good luck with your gluten free eating.0 -
DGJ also do what is I think baby shampoo (it's different bottle to the kids one) in Savers, 150ml, think it was £1 or something.
I'd have to be quite ill to give up bread, Higgidy AND respect carrot cake!
Worth keeping an eye out on the comps board as there are often gluten free food comps or freebies, worth entering just to try things before wasting money buying sometimes.0 -
Thanks smallblueplanet I need the luck ! Gluten/wheat free is quite confusing ! Firstly, because not all cereals have gluten and I have to remember which ones are which. Then I have to learn what's in things like gram flour (chickpeas) when I'm reading ingredients.
Kirri, The Husband has been suffering increasing indigestion, bloating, feelings of nausea, loud grumbling stomach and um rear end probs. He is a carb lover and he has always moaned that he doesn't want to eat low carb for the rest of his life just cos I do. I think his carb-feasting was catching up with him.Ten days so far without wheat or gluten.. zero problems. I hope he's sensible enough to realise that it's worth changing his diet therefore. It's not like he can never eat bread again.
Thanks for the comps tip.
Holland & Barrett is now doing free delivery on all orders so I ordered Neal's Yard Wholefoods gluten free granola and muesli (horribly expensive), NYW organic Bombay mix on BOGOHP, four bags of Zero noodles (gluten free and organic), some V8 vegetable juice (never had it before and I miss gazpacho), Amisa organic gluten free buckwheat crispbread, Go Do organic chocolate bars and some Granovita gluten free nut luncheon.
I'm all for broadening out the types of food we eat but have to say some of the veggie non organic stuff has additives in so won't be buying it !
Novak Djokovic has non-coeliac gluten intolerance and has written a book called Serve to Win
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Serve-To-Win-Gluten-free-Excellence/dp/0552170534
I just bought the hardback US version in GBP from Amazon.com and even with expedited shipping it was only 17.39 - sometimes it's cheaper to buy new books in the USA actually.
Found this online today - ignore the website pls but look how the consultants are starting to speak out..

@Edwardia
I came across this gluten free blog/recipe whilst looking for something else...baguette trays, but that's another story.

smallblueplanet thank you so much
My mother called me today and alerted me to the fact that the Panasonic breadmaker most like hers at John Lewis has (a) gone down in price and is now under £100 and (b) has a gluten free program.
http://www.johnlewis.com/panasonic-sd-2500wxc-bread-maker-white/p231270091
So I will send OH links to both and let him ruminate
It's true.. Morrisons has Green & Black's organic choc 100g bars 2 for £3 to 10/11 as I've seen them this evening.
Got yellow stickered 2L Yeo Valley whole milk for 39p, YS wild Alaskan salmon fillets 2 for 4.55.. then picked up Morrisons wild Alaskan smoked salmon for 4.99 and 2 organic courgettes 1.29
